In some of the most stunning aerial photographs of the county, Cornwall from Above reveals colours, textures and patterns of land, sea and sky – some natural, others man-made. It offers a visual feast, and a new perspective on the imprint of human activity on this ancient environment.
John Such was born in Newquay, Cornwall, and from the age of 12 knew that he wanted to be a photographer. His career as a professional photographer has led him into many branches of the art, and he has been involved in aerial photography since 2000. His clients in Cornwall include the National Trust, the Eden Project, gardens and historic houses, and his work has been published in books, magazines and newspapers. In 2005 John opened the Such Gallery at Kingsley Village – one of the largest galleries in the South West.

She has worked for the National Trust for 18 years, and is a great admirer of John’s aerial photography, which she commissions regularly.
